We do not provide group counseling. If social supports are needed, therapy can involve each patient's natural supports and family members if they choose to involve others in their counseling. We help each patient create a program that works for them.
We do not provide drug and alcohol assessments except as part of the overall treatment process. A comprehensive psychiatric and medical examination may be performed at the beginning of receiving therapy.
We do not provided 12-step based services. While many patients find 12-step work and it's community vital to their recovery process, many do not. We respect and support each patients goal on their journey to recovery and healing. If our patient does want to participate in the 12-step process, they are welcome to do so, and will be supported in their program by their therapist.
We deal with courts and state agencies regularly. If you need us to communicate with your probation officer or case manager, we can do that for you.
