Our therapy practice specializes in both mental health and addiction issues. We have a team of therapists who are specially trained in both areas and can help you or your loved one get the treatment they need.
Our therapy practice works with all ages of clients, from young children to adults. We have a variety of therapies available that can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We work with each client to create a treatment plan that will help them achieve their goals.
We do not provide group counseling. If social supports are needed, therapy can involve each patient's natural supports and family members if they choose to involve others in their counseling. We help each patient create a program that works for them.
We do not provide drug and alcohol assessments except as part of the overall treatment process. A comprehensive psychiatric and medical examination may be performed at the beginning of receiving therapy.
We do not provided 12-step based services. While many patients find 12-step work and it's community vital to their recovery process, many do not. We respect and support each patients goal on their journey to recovery and healing. If our patient does want to participate in the 12-step process, they are welcome to do so, and will be supported in their program by their therapist.
We deal with courts and state agencies regularly. If you need us to communicate with your probation officer or case manager, we can do that for you.
We specialize in addiction and provide a unique, highly specialized approach to treatment. Our comprehensive psychiatric services and addiction medicine create a complete biopsychosocial approach to care. Outpatient detox services and medicine are available when receiving counseling. Our therapists are experienced in treating a wide variety of mental health issues and have worked in a multitude of settings. Please visit our provider page to learn more about each one's specialty.
Our therapy practice provides a variety of evidence-based practices. Some examples include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family-focused therapy. Therapy is always performed utilizing an integrative approach meaning we consider all aspects of the patient's life including their physical functioning, their psychological health, and their social participation and involvement. All of these things relate to mental health and we have treatments that address each aspect.
