Our therapy practice specializes in both mental health and addiction issues. We have a team of therapists who are specially trained in both areas and can help you or your loved one get the treatment they need.
Our therapy practice works with all ages of clients, from young children to adults. We have a variety of therapies available that can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We work with each client to create a treatment plan that will help them achieve their goals.
We do not offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) or inpatient residential services and do not conduct stand-alone drug and alcohol assessments outside the context of ongoing treatment. Instead, we provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluations at the start of therapy to determine the most appropriate level of care for each individual. These evaluations are integrated into a personalized treatment plan and can also aid referral sources in making informed decisions about the next steps.
Additionally, we are not solely a 12-step-based program. We believe in a flexible, individualized approach where all treatment options are considered as potential tools in a patient's recovery toolbox. Recognizing that what works for one person may not be effective for another, we do not adhere to a single model or expect all patients to improve in the same way. Our goal is to offer a range of therapies and support that align with each patient's unique needs.
Yes, we regularly work with drug courts, Child Protective Services (CPS), and other state agencies. We can communicate directly with your probation officer, case manager, or other legal representatives to support your treatment and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Our licensed therapists provide comprehensive assessments and progress reports integrated into your overall treatment plan, which can be used for court and CPS purposes.
We are recognized by numerous drug courts and CPS agencies, which trust our expertise and commitment to high standards of care. Our goal is to assist you through these legal challenges while prioritizing your safety, well-being, and recovery, offering a range of therapeutic options tailored to your unique needs.
Extinction Therapy, also known as the Sinclair Method, is an innovative approach to treating alcohol dependency. It involves using medication to block the endorphins that reinforce drinking behaviors, helping to reduce cravings over time. By combining this with targeted counseling sessions, we aim to support long-term changes in drinking habits, allowing individuals to regain control of their alcohol use.
Our $500 special offer for The Sinclair Method (TSM) includes a comprehensive initial meeting with our psychiatric provider, your first educational session to understand the method, and a counseling session to support your progress. This package is designed to provide you with a robust foundation as you begin your path to reducing alcohol use.
Yes, we encourage family members to be involved in therapy sessions. Their support can be invaluable in the recovery process, providing additional emotional backing and understanding. Family participation can help build a supportive environment that fosters long-term stability and health.
We use the biopsychosocial model to address all aspects of a patient's life, recognizing that mental health and addiction issues are influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors. Our holistic approach ensures that treatment is comprehensive, addressing each of these dimensions to promote sustainable recovery.
Our therapy practice provides a variety of evidence-based practices. Some examples include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family-focused therapy. We also offer a variety of treatment approaches for different mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our therapists are highly skilled in providing evidence-based treatments that have been shown to be effective in research studies.
Therapy is always performed utilizing an integrative approach meaning we consider all aspects of the patient's life including their physical functioning, their psychological health, and their social participation and involvement. All of these things relate to mental health and we have treatments that address each aspect.
We accept HMSA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HMAA, and UHA health insurance. We also accept HMSA Quest and clients that wish to pay out of pocket.

“Safety Before Sobriety” means we prioritize actions that enhance the safety and well-being of our patients above all else. This approach ensures that any steps toward sobriety, such as detoxification, are handled carefully to avoid unnecessary risks or disruptions. Our focus is on creating a safe environment for every patient.
“Better is Better” reflects our belief that any improvement, no matter how small, is valuable. We support patients in making incremental changes that they feel are right for them, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance and partnership in their journey to recovery. Our goal is to work collaboratively with patients to achieve positive outcomes.
Yes, we do not require patients to be abstinent to benefit from treatment. We believe that anyone can benefit from therapy at any stage of their journey and that active addiction should not be a barrier to receiving help. We are here to support patients in finding safer ways to improve their lives in addition to examining abstinence as part of their recovery journey.
New patients can start therapy by contacting our office to schedule an initial appointment and by completing our consent forms. You can also choose your preferred therapist and decide whether you’d like in-person or Telehealth sessions. Fill out our consent forms by visiting the link at the bottom of this page and our Clinical Director will contact you to schedule your appointment and discuss your needs.
If a patient is deteriorating in treatment, we take a proactive approach to reassess their needs and adjust the treatment plan accordingly. We do not remove patients from treatment unless it's necessary for their safety, preferring instead to find solutions that can help stabilize and support them through difficult times. We work with numerous residential facilities if our Outpatient Care is not succeeding.
